Understanding U is a collaborative writing and art project between Rockingham Early College High School and Rockingham Community College. THis project's goals include helping our RECHS learners find an appreciation of others, to see past stereotypes and misunderstandings, and to take time to listen and understand. Understanding U is being modeled after a successful project sponsored by the Aspen Writer's Foundation and Basalt High School in Aspen. Many thanks for their guidance.
I think that this is a good way for young adolescence's to express themselves socially and artistically. this gives people a chance to tell their stories and to open up to others. By telling your story, you can help someone else get their story across.
